Special Artist Exhibition Opportunity

Retain 100 percent of sales at historic sites and museums this summer!
North Carolina artists are invited to exhibit and sell their art work this summer during 2nd Saturdays: History, Heritage, Arts & Fun. This is a new program of the Department of Cultural Resources providing opportunities for artists to showcase their work at more than 30 state historic sites and museums. The events will take place June 12, July 10 and August 14. The event time varies at each site but is generally 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Visual artists can use these opportunities to sell their work and there is no cost to participate. At most sites artists retain 100 percent of their sales. Artists are responsible for providing their own tables, tents and displays.
Spaces are still available at most sites for June 12. Please note that participating sites encourage all types of artist to register even though specific historical and cultural themes have been developed.
Deadlines: April 23 for June event; May 10 for July event; June 14 for August event.
